ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE
* The Library will be closed after school today.
* The HMS 3-D Printing Club will not meet this afternoon.
***************************************************************************************
Any students planning to attend a weekday Howitt basketball or volleyball game as spectators must report to the West Café at 3:30. They will be supervised and then escorted into the East or West Gym 15 minutes prior to the game’s scheduled start time. Students must attend a TASK or club event after school prior to attending the game. Those students who do not plan to attend TASK or a club event, must leave the building immediately after school and return to school no earlier than 3:30. Students attending after school sporting events as spectators are responsible for their own transportation and will not be permitted to use the Howitt 4:45 pm late bus.

Congratulations to the Girls’ basketball team, who beat Bethpage yesterday with a score of 49-29, and to the Boys’ volleyball team who defeated Wisdom Lane yesterday with a score of 5-0. Both teams did a great job and played exceptionally well.

Mr. Sapenzia's 6th grade students are going to spend this last day before winter break answering math question after math question to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They are in good company. Both Mrs. Boland's and Mrs. Merlo's 7th grade math students will also be participating in the Math-A-Thon. Since it is Valentine's season, have a heart and consider fundraising money for a very great cause. Ask your math teacher or Mrs. Goff in room 212 how to get started.

It looks like most of you forgot to get dressed this morning and stayed in your cozy PJs. Mrs. Cuiffo and the two Mrs. Merlos would like to thank everyone who participated in all the Spirit Week themes that were chosen by the Student Council members. Please have a safe and happy winter recess.

Yearbooks can be ordered online at yearbookforever.com or in room 308 with a $65 check or cash during homeroom only.

The Future Corps Club will be having a flower sale today during all lunch periods in both cafeterias. For only $2, students & staff may purchase a carnation and a card.

Dalerskind Club w/Ms. Conroy will meet after the break on February 26 and NOT THIS AFTERNOON.

Scenery Club w/Mr. Duchin is CANCELLED for this afternoon, but WILL MEET in the auditorium TOMORROW (Saturday, 2/13) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
