Farmingdale Students Create Using Innovative Makerspace
Farmingdale Elementary School Students Design and Build Suspension Bridge
Farmingdale School District third grade students at Northside Elementary School recently used the District’s makerspace and innovation laboratory to create suspension bridges based on civil engineering and design tips they researched in the classroom. Using technology to create an active learning environment, Farmingdale teacher JeanMarie Papillo supported students as they put the theories they’ve learned to practice and explore the limits of their imaginations. This event is part of an ongoing Farmingdale School District initiative to engage students’ creativity through technology and innovation.
