Two FHS AP Art Students Exhibit at LIU Post Advanced Visions Showcase

Farmingdale High School Advanced Placement (AP) art students Alex Inkpen and Bernard Raifer had their artwork displayed from December 11, 2018 through January 9, 2019 at Advanced Visions: High School Artists of Excellence—an exhibition held annually at LIU Post. The showcase features the top two AP Studio Art students from participating Long Island high schools. Both artists are students in Ms. Regina Nicholas’s AP Studio Art class. Their work was displayed in the Student Art League Gallery at LIU Post.

“Alex’s graphic illustration “Millennial Couch” and Bernard’s detailed ink illustration titled “One Who is Awake” are outstanding examples of AP level art work,” said Ms. Nicholas. “The exhibition was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talent and level of achievement of these students.”
