28 FHS Students Inducted into French Honor Society

The Farmingdale High School French Honor Society Induction and Senior Recognition Ceremony was held Tuesday, May 7th at Farmingdale High School. Twenty-eight new members (grades 9-12) were inducted, and twenty-eight seniors who have tackled the challenge of French 5— a college level course—were presented with the French Honor Society blue-white-red tassel.

The French Honor Society provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding scholarship in the study of the French language. It also provides a vehicle for activities surrounding French language and culture, as well as an opportunity for students to experience leadership.

“It’s a privilege and a pleasure to work with such outstanding students in the French program at Farmingdale High School,” said teacher and advisor Jill Nimphius. “Their achievements are something for all to be proud of!”
