Suzanne D’Amico has been a Farmingdale Board of Education trustee since 2016 and currently serves as vice president. She has served on many committees, including the Safety Committee, the Wellness Committee, the Policy Committee, Math/ELA/World Language Curriculum Committee, the Industry Advisory Council, the Shared Decision Committee, and the Legislative Action Committee. She has been an active child and community advocate — serving as president of both the SEPTA and PTA Council — and served on the Board of Directors of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce. She received the NYS PTA Jenkins Award from SEPTA in 2013, she was awarded the New York State School Board Association’s Board Achievement Award in 2018 and 2021 and was also the recipient of the S.C.O.P.E. Award for her Board of Education Service in 2022. Ms. D’Amico earned her associate degree in business management at Briarcliffe College and worked at a stock trading and retirement planning firm for eleven years before trading in her career to become a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband Scott have three children, all currently enrolled in Farmingdale schools. Suzanne also has a degree in audio recording technology with a minor in vocal performance from Five Towns College. In 2012, her passion for photography and working with special needs children led her to start a home-based child and family photography business. In addition to her passion working with children, she has additionally spent the last 2 years as a 1:1 special education aide in a neighboring district and has found that her knowledge, compassion and own life experiences is serving her best in this very rewarding position.

Anthony Giordano has been a Farmingdale Board of Education trustee since 2015 and currently serves on the Audit and Facility Committees. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at SUNY Old Westbury and is presently an assistant vice president in the banking industry. Mr. Giordano is president of A&J Youth Sports, a board trustee on the Farmingdale Youth Council, and vice president of the Farmingdale Aquatics Swim club. He has volunteered as both a director and a coach for the Farmingdale Police Athletic League basketball and Farmingdale Soccer. Anthony and his wife Lisa have lived in Farmingdale for twenty-two years and have three daughters.

Kathy Lively has been a Farmingdale Board of Education trustee since 2006 and an active member of the school district and greater community for over twenty-eight years. Ms. Lively attended Berkeley College, and after fifteen years as a legal secretary and notary public at Debevoise and Plimpton, she semi-retired to raise her family. She continues to work on many board committees, including the Policy, Safety, Wellness, NYSSBA State Legislative Network, Legislative Action, PTA Council, and Concerned Citizens of Farmingdale. She has served on various PTA committees and is currently the executive vice president of Farmingdale Youth Council, a vice president of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, and a member of The Junior League of the Women’s Club of Farmingdale. Kathy coached Farmingdale PAL girls basketball, served as commissioner, director, and coach of girls softball, coached Farmingdale Catholic Youth Organization basketball, and was a Girl Scout leader. Her volunteerism earned her the NYS School Board Association’s Master of Boardsmanship Award of Recognition, the NYS PTA Honorary Life Award, and the NYS PTA Advocate in Action Award. Kathy was recognized by Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt as a Woman of Distinction and as a Leading Lady of Farmingdale by the Women’s Club of Farmingdale. Last year, she was honored by the Farmingdale baseball league as parade grand marshal. Kathy and her husband, Joseph, have lived in Farmingdale for over 36 years and are the proud parents of three children.

Dawn Luisi is a lifelong Daler, elected to the Farmingdale Board of Education in 2023. Mrs. Luisi has been a Certified General and Special Education teacher for grades 1-3 in the Great Neck School District since 2008. Dawn is a current four-term Teacher Co-Chair for the Shared Decision-Making Committee and a Parent member of Farmingdale’s District-Wide Shared Decision-Making Committee. Mrs. Luisi has been a dedicated Saltzman East Memorial PTA officer since 2019; a PTA council delegate for SEM PTA since 2017; Second Vice President for legislation for Farmingdale’s Council of PTA since 2021; and a member of SEPTA. Mrs. Luisi is committed to putting our students first and advocating for all Dalers. Dawn is married to a computer systems engineer, and together they have three children, all enrolled in the Farmingdale School District.

Gavin Rogers is a lifelong Daler, graduating from Saltzman East Memorial (2013), Weldon E. Howitt Middle School (2016), and Farmingdale Senior High School (2020). He graduated from Farmingdale with an Advanced Regents Diploma and a Career and Technical Endorsement in Accounting and Law. During the Covid-19 Pandemic Gavin completed his Eagle Scout Project at Michel Park in East Farmingdale, building and installing two wood benches from scratch, as well as a flag pole to display our nation's flag. He dedicated his project to our community's veterans on Veterans Day 2020. After aging out the same year, Gavin returned to scouting in an adult leader position as Assistant Scoutmaster to Troop 601. Following high school Gavin graduated from St. John's University in January 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Politics. He also began interning for the Town of Babylon in the Summer of 2021, formally starting full-time in January 2023. Beginning as a Community Service Aide in the Beautifications and Covid Relief Programs, Gavin was promoted in December 2023 to Coordinator of the Town's new CLEAN Program. Gavin was elected to the Farmingdale School Board in May 2024.
