On September 2nd, the entire Farmingdale School District staff came together at Farmingdale High School to kick off an exciting new school year!
Led by Superintendent Paul Defendini, the day began with a big THANK YOU for a successful 2024-25 school year and to everyone who worked hard over the summer to prepare our schools.
Staff also got a look at this summer’s construction projects, including:
- A brand-new Welcome Vestibule at FHS
- The new Cosmetology Lab
- Roof renovations at Howitt Middle School
- Parking lot remodels at Albany Avenue & Northside
The day continued with laughs during a fun staff lip-reading game, before diving into goals for the 2025-26 school year. Finally, educators were inspired by keynote speaker Christine Teahan, Co-Director of Academics at The Writing Revolution.
We are excited to welcome our students back on the first day of school this Thursday, September 4th! Let’s go, Dalers!
